Lessons

Wildwind Equestrian Center specializes in riding lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider. We provide a safe, fun place for children and adults to experience horses and improve their riding skills.

You don’t have to own a horse to take riding lessons. With more than 40 diverse school horses and ponies we have the right mount for you. Wildwind’s school horses and ponies are chosen for their temperament, training, soundness and versatility.

Wildwind teaches English riding lesson, in hunt seat, hunter/jumper, and dressage. Each student learns grooming, saddling and caring for their horse. Group, private and semi-private lessons are taught year round in our indoor and outdoor arenas. Clinics, shows, camps and special events are scheduled throughout the year.

Children age 4-6 get their first experience with ponies in the Tiny Tots program. The regular schooling program begins at age 7. We teach with a positive attitude, making sure students learn to build one skill on top of the next to become proficient in their sport.

Many adult riders come back to riding looking for something they loved when they were young. Parents and children will find riding something that is fun to do together. Accomplished adult riders will like the variety of horses and experience of the teaching staff.

Whether you ride for pleasure, competition, fitness, or relaxation we have a program that will fit your needs. Depend on Wildwind instructors to teach you safely, keep your classes challenging, and keep your riding skills improving.
