Fossils for fun camp

A Camp for Adults and Seniors
Kids aren’t the only ones who deserve to go to camp. So put the office work aside. Grandparents, leave the grandkids at home, and come out to play. You’ll have your own horse for the week. No matter if this is your first time on a horse or you’re a well-established rider, everyone will have fun. We’ll spend time riding, hands on learning and talking about horses. We might try out some drill team work, vaulting, or bareback. Of course we will spend time in the sun grooming and bathing the horses, and meeting new friends, as part of the camp experience. Riding is one of the best exercises you can do for your entire body and mind. Don’t worry seniors, with over 30 lesson horses well trained for beginners and a certified therapeutic instructor to help with any individual needs, you will be well taken care of.

Extended mounting blocks make getting on easy. Safety stirrups and hand holds give you a bit of extra security. Bring your wallet and we will skip a couple brown bag lunches, and head out to local establishments for lunch. We’ll talk about how you can buy the right horse at any age and take a trip to a local tack store. On Friday, invite your family and friends for a potluck and presentation at noon. We assure you the only fossils we will find this week are the rocks on the ground.

There is a 200 lb. weight limit for this class.
